Some people remember titles easily. Maybe they stop, look at the description and then move on. But later they see it and think, “Oh, I remember thinking this looked pretty good.”
I am not one of those people, for if I can’t remember the title “Snabba Cash” then what chances do I have, drowning in Netflix titles, of remembering almost anything else?
None. None chance.
But I do not ever remember seeing “Snabba Cash,” which is a title you’ll probably agree is very hard to forget.
In the plus column for our “Deep Dive” exploration, the pilot episode was also very hard to forget. I was instantly taken with its difference, how it stuck out from almost everything around it in the same way that FX’s “Reservation Dogs” does. This is a Swedish series, after all, and the first glimpses you get aren’t of some Blonde On Blonde Scandi-centric panorama but instead a multi-ethnic what-do-we-have-here surprise dive into Sweden’s class and race issues.
