A grab-bag of potentially useful and informative shit which is priceless, and thus not free. This isn't some AI monkey typewriter, so come correct.

• “Don’t lie to me like I’m Montel Williams!” Name the source. Go.

• I just wrote “Let’s go kick San Jose’s ass!” in a comment about their library system and it’s the most joy I’ve had in 48 hours.

• Every scene in “The Studio” on AppleTV+ finds me saying, “That’s real…that happened…I’ve seen that happen…that happened to me…this is a documentary in the funniest and saddest possible way.” I hope you’re watching. It’s great.

• In the pantheon of descriptive putdowns, “Shitbird” is still one that I love dearly. So effective.

• On a purely aesthetic level and certainly based on a love of design dovetailing nicely with what I do for a living, I completely understand my love of old Olivetti typewriters (specifically the Lettera 32 in baby blue and the Valentine, red only) but when was the last time you typed on an actual typewriter? Let me tell you — it’s not like driving a vintage car. Torturous. No love lost. I like keyboards and computer tech. Everything else is for the eyeballs and a lost mythology.
