Yes, I lied when I said I wasn't going to rank them.

With less than a month until the election, all hell continuing to break loose across the globe and untold normal woes, I seriously think this “save your sanity” summer campaign I started to just find things to watch other than doomscrolling, is even more needed (for me at least) as the days wind down.

At this point I’m not planning to rank all the dozens of other shows I wrote about, but also at this point I’m not trustworthy and probably not stable, so I am your congenial Unreliable Narrator.

I think it makes a lot of sense to rank the “One Season And Done” choices because, well, I hadn’t really thought about them when dreaming up this idea and then I ended up posting three different sets of choices. As my nerves jangle like a meth addict, maybe it’s just easier to commit to one season — since that’s all there is of these series — rather than talk about all the others where you might have to watch, say, all seven seasons of “Mad Men.”

I still think that’s a great idea but, personally, it would take me a long time to do that and my attention span is like a cracked oil pan on a ‘70s era Fiat. I’m just leaking all over the ground with no center to focus on.

So we’re just going to do this (and there’s audio at the end).
