Still Watching...

True Detective: Night Country, Self Reliance, Echo, Asteroid City, Kandahar and more.

I think I might still be on my “Fargo” season finale buzz. Just riding it Soaking in it. So much to appreciate.

But hey, the watching can’t just stop (well, it can but just go with it). Along the way — as noted in the last Still Watching… column — I saw a string of movies and then recently talked about perhaps some more-interesting-than-one-would-expect titles that were coming out soon. Like you, I was juggling life, yet eager to watch, watch ,watch.

And it didn’t all go well..

I had high hopes for Disney+/Hulu’s Marvel series “Echo” but, as it turned out, I wasn’t nearly as high as I needed to be for those high hopes to pan out. Clearly a victim of well-cut online teasers, I thought I might devour “Echo” but then watched it. A lot can go wrong when you watch a show, is what I’m saying.

Anyway, I feel like it was written by 10 monkeys and directed by some DIY AI stuffed into a robot, maybe?
