We’re only halfway through Season Five of “Fargo” and it already feels like the best kind of runaway train. The story is flying down the tracks and the sparks are everywhere and only the TV gods know if it’s going to derail.

Pretty unlikely, is the guess. This is a show that knows what it’s doing.

“The Tiger” had numerous elements going for it, most notably that everything is closing in around Dot and there’s only so much biting and very accurate nasal passage finger control moves that one very small woman likely has in her bag of escapist tricks.

But of course the thrill is that she just might have more. Fuck around and find out.
