This is a weekly examination of each new “Silo” episode. It contains spoilers, so if you haven’t watched, come back when you have.
Do you want to go backward with this deconstruction? Of course you do.
Backward is the end of the episode. And the end of “The Book Of Quinn” brought us, as expected — with a slight twist — to the “Lost”-like presence of the “Others” from that show popping up as a storytelling concept in “Silo,” as we had hoped and as we were rewarded.
As a savvy viewer, you knew they weren’t going to let a whole formerly “dead” silo have just one occupant, named “Solo.” You hoped and wanted there to be others in that silo, other survivors, whose presence forever changes the arc of the series, perhaps even in a good direction.
So, yes, let’s start from the end.
