No doubt you’ve been there — everything on TV that you sample in a given week mostly looks good but you’re troubled by your own reaction to it, whether it’s lack of enthusiasm or having to hang an asterisk on a series you want to follow but fear will take you sideways into the woods, scattering lost hours into the brush.

I’m there. I feel you.

But on the plus side, I’ve unearthed so many other gems recently that my disappointment level is tempered by the realization I might have more time to watch those shows.

Still, there’s some zeitgeist-y new offerings on streamers recently, so let’s get to deconstructing a handful of those.
